The nine-time WWE Champion – real name Paul Levesque – is expected to tackle two-time WWE World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins at the Florida event on April 2.

And judging by his latest clip he's just about ready to rumble.

In video – available above – Triple H enjoys a late night workout with his personal trainer.

Lying on a bench, he sweats and grunts while lifting over 142kg several times.

The champion muscleman then hits the deck to perform a no-hands plank move for 20 seconds.

And the superstar manages to stay strong and hold the pose despite interruption from a cheeky pet dog.

He then swipes his arms back and forth in a swimming motion to up the ante before taking a well-earned breather.

Triple H uploaded the clip to Twitter with the caption: "315lb x 3. Dog assisted chaos reps. Do the work.

"Midnight workout."

The video was shared hundreds of time on social media and has on served to excite fans further ahead of WrestleMania.

One Twitter user wrote: "You got the game man. Beast mode. Amazing."

Another commented: "Hard work gets you to the top and that's why you're there. Go for it bro!"

And a third added: "You're getting better every year. Immense."

Another video showed the star sprinting 10 yards while pushing over 147kg in weight.

Earlier today tickets went on sale for the WWE UK Championship and Triple H praised British fans for making it happen.
