4th of July is essentially the big start to summer. I mean, Memorial Day kicks off barbecue season, but it doesn't come with a fireworks display and hot weather isn't always guaranteed. Plus, who doesn't love to rock a good red, white, and blue look?

I love cheeseburgers, potato salad, and pasta salad as much as the next person, but having fruits and veggies on the side is always advisable and welcome. Luckily, there are tons of healthy (and kinda healthy) 4th of July recipes on Pinterest that are so cute and fun, everyone will want to eat them—after posting them on Instagram, of course. We rounded up the most delicious-sounding (and prettiest) options for a 4th of July spread that would make Taylor Swift, queen of Independence Day celebrations, weep with envy. We're partial to anything with watermelon, but would be happy if anyone showed up with any of the following 13 recipes (hint hint, nudge nudge).
