The Fashion Show mall has been upgrading its outdoor, Strip-facing retail kiosks, causing Luke’s Lobster to be out of commission during the remodel.

Now back in business, the 245-square-foot, self-described "shack" is serving "traceable and sustainable seafood dishes" from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. from Sunday to Thursday and staying open until 10 p.m. on Friday and Saturday.

Created in New York in 2009, the chain has quickly expanded to Boston, Philadelphia, Washington, D.C. and five locations in Japan.

Popular items on the menu include $17 quarter-pound "chilled wild caught lobster" in a roll, $6 or $9 portions of clam chowder, $10 shrimp or $14 crab rolls, $7 or $11 servings of lobster bisque and the ability to add a half lobster tail to a meal for $5.

Luke’s Lobster’s neighbors out on the plaza, Pressed Juicery and Sticks & Shakes, are also back in action. Next up for the mall, the future arrival of Habit Burger in the food court and an impressive $330,000 estimated construction bill dedicated to remodeling the 492-square-foot Aunt Annie’s pretzel outpost.
