Health Department to offer free testing

Free testing for STD/HIV next two Mondays as part of STD Awareness Month

The San Angelo-Tom Green County Health Department will offer free tests for sexually transmitted diseases and for HIV the next two Mondays, March 27 and April 3.

The free STD/HIV testing on March 27 will be at the Health Department, in Suite 8 at 2030 Pulliam St. The clinic will be 8-11 a.m. and 1-4 p.m. No appointments are necessary; walk-ins are welcome.

The April 3 clinic will be 9 a.m.-2 p.m. at Angelo State University. Although the effort is meant to target ASU students, no one will be turned away. Health Department offices will be closed Monday, April 3.

April is STD Awareness Month, and April 3-9 is Public Health Week.
