It's the dream of women everywhere and now one personal trainer has shared his tips on how it could be possible.

Author of the bestselling Clean and Lean cookbooks, James Duigan, claims he can help you lose five kilos in two weeks, without sacrificing wine.

So long as you follow the rules, eat two snacks that he lists and stick to the right portion sizes, his programme should see you shed that extra bit of weight.

James Duigan's top tips

  1. Limit alcohol consumption to four standard drinks per week
  2. Avoid low-fat yogurts - eat real butter and full fat milk and dairy instead
  3. Eat lots of green vegetables or a fibre supplement
  4. Drink one coffee per day, max

According to Now to Love, the total daily kilojoule count on Mr Duigan's diet is 5500-7000kJ. This compares to the average of 8000-9000kJ for a 70kg Australian woman.

Depending on your starting weight, you could lose one to two kilos a week, but up to five kilos a week if you have a heavier starting weight.

Duigan's tips include eating lots of green vegetables or a fibre supplement, which he said helps to reduce 'bat wings' (also known as bingo wings, or the loose skin some women have under their arms).

He also recommends limiting alcohol intake to four standard drinks a week, one coffee a day and avoiding low-fat yoghurt.

'Studies show that low-fat yoghurts are loaded with sugar and sodium to make up for the blandness of having no fat,' he said.

'So, eat real butter, yoghurt and milk and cheese. Keep the doses small, though.'
