Easter Egg Eggstravaganza at MLK Community Center
Midland’s Parks and Recreation kicks off the Easter weekend with this big egg hunt. The annual Easter Egg Eggstravaganza is for children 12 and younger to hunt for prize eggs. The event will be divided into age groups giving all kids a fair chance for some major basket-loading.

Pat Green at Dos Amigos
The restaurant and music venue welcomes back the Texas country singer to its stage after he played the reopening last year. With a hefty touring schedule in Texas and the Gulf Coast, Green still manages time to work on his own restaurant empire. He’ll open his second The Rustic location in San Antonio this summer. Fans are surely glad he still sticks to his day job.

Hot in West Texas Spring Bash with Nelly and Paul Wall
If you have spring fever, this might be the cure. Hip-hop star and Grammy winner Nelly will bring his landmark hits to Midland this weekend.
From the beginning, Nelly was a standout with his debut “Country Grammar” in 2000 and the No. 1 “Nellyville” in 2002. The latter also was nominated for Album of the Year in 2003. Along with the Grammys for “Hot in Herre” and “Dilemma,” he would go on to win at the Billboard, American Music and BET awards.

The Austin-born rapper has also ventured into films with “The Longest Yard” and his own television show, “Nellyville.”
He headlines the show with Houston-based rapper Paul Wall, who is known for his critically acclaimed 2005 debut “The People’s Champ,” which debuted at No. 1 on Billboard charts. Also debuting at No. 1 was his follow-up, “Get Money, Stay True.”
Wall has kept Houston close to his music, whether dropping a mixtape with Slim Thug for the 2013 NBA All-Star Game in Houston or naming his 2016 release “Houston Oiler.”

“No Exemptions” by Old School Wrestling
The card is huge for this night of wrestling. Old School Wrestling (OSW) out of Odessa brings out the big guns with OSW superstars Jastin Taylor, Curt “The Lone Star” Stallion, El Classico, to name a few. The match of the night will be when current OSW champion Charlie Haas takes on TNA star Abyss.
