The single tells the story of the night the band met Drake’s actual dad, Dennis Graham, in Nashville. Graham himself is featured in the music video, which the band released July 28.

The group, whose five members met at McMaster University in Ontario, began touring after graduation in 2008 and has since toured with Tokyo Police Club, The Postelles and X Ambassadors, among others.

The group is releasing Morning Report through Last Gang Records, a subsidiary of Entertainment One. Another single, “Private School,” has received some radio airplay Stateside, with 49 plays on alternative radio in the tracking week ending July 31, according to Nielsen Music, with Detroit’s CIMX and WEDG in Buffalo, N.Y., among its early supporters.
