Meyer joins Citizens State Bank ag team

LOYAL — Citizens State Bank of Loyal has announced the addition of Bob Meyer as an assistant vice president and agriculture loan officer. He will be located out of the Marshfield branch.

Meyer comes to Citizens State Bank of Loyal with in-depth agricultural knowledge and insights gained through a lifetime in the farming community. This includes a 30-year career in radio as farm broadcaster, in addition to growing up on a dairy farm west of Loyal.

Meyer is an avid supporter of the FFA, he holds several honorary chapter degrees. Meyer is a charter member of the Loyal FFA Alumni. He has also served on the Wisconsin Ag Education and Workforce Development Council.

Ben Bauer

Bauer named director of marketing

MARSHFIELD — Simplicity Credit Union is pleased to announce the addition of Ben Bauer as its new director of marketing. Bauer will oversee the marketing and public relations efforts of the credit union.

Bauer comes to Simplicity Credit Union with a diverse set of talents including marketing, graphic design, public relations and leadership. Most recently, he worked in sales and internet marketing for V&H Automotive in Marshfield. He is the co-founder and former vice president of Premier Printing Inc. in Marshfield.

His community service includes serving as a board member for the Marshfield Sunrise Rotary Club and assistant coach for Spencer-Columbus Football.

Rohm honored by Veterinary Medical Association

RUDOLPH — Dr. Marvin Rohm of Rudolph received the Wisconsin Veterinary Medical Association’s 50 Years of Membership Award during the 2016 Annual Convention on Oct. 14.

Rohm graduated from the University of Minnesota College of Veterinary Medicine in 1957. He is a large-animal veterinarian who spent 35 years practicing in both Rudolph and Auburndale.
