Marketing 201 Workshops for Small Businesses
Rich Seidel from Blue Stripe Creative, and Candice Sciarrillo and Paloma Domenico from The factors of M have decided to team up in an effort to help small businesses not only better understand marketing concepts, but actually implement them as well.
These workshops will provide hands-on assistance with branding, social media, email, and website marketing. We will look at each attendees’ business in relation to these areas of marketing and personalize the workshops accordingly. The first of the 4-part series is a Branding Workshop held on May 4, 2016 at 6PM at The Hilton Garden Inn in Danbury, CT. Tickets are limited and can be purchased at: https://marketing201.eventbrite.com
The branding workshop will help businesses identify their target audience, update their brand to fit that audience, and explain how to go about doing it. We will specify how to update their Marketing Materials and learn to use the right color scheme for their business, present a consistent and uniform image to their audience through all platforms including the proper use of print media, and when, what, and how to create and use all of this.
The following workshop will be on Social Media, May 11, 2016. This one will dive into how to use the top social media platforms, such as Facebook, Twitter, Snapchat, etc. Businesses will learn the nuances of each platform, anatomy of a good post, content marketing basics, how to grow an audience, how to use paid advertising, and the importance of video in 2016. This workshop will segue nicely to next; Email Marketing.
Many businesses make very common mistakes in email marketing that this workshop will point out to help increase their audience retention rate. The Email Marketing Workshop, held on May 25, 2016, will teach businesses how to get their emails to stand out from the rest and ensure they are creating targeted and relevant content. We will go over campaigns in general, types of newsletters, who to target and managing the database while understanding analytics, what to write to stand out, how to engage and get responses, subject line best practices, and when to send your newsletters.
Overall, this is going to be a great series with actual, usable and applicable information. All four workshops are on sale at https://marketing201.eventbrite.com for $80. Space is limited! Brewster Chamber members can visit the Chamber’s group page on Facebook for a discount code. For additional information, please email paloma@thefactorsofm.com or Rich@bluestripecreative.com.
